Torri graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, after completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours at the University of Calgary. The first few years of her career were spent with a mentor, focusing primarily on patients with on-going hip pain. In this population, Torri noted a large portion of her patients describing co-existing pelvic issues. Torri then completed post-graduate education in Pelvic Health and IMS (dry needling), registered through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Torri is passionate about the hip and pelvic floor for men and women, and strongly believes in evidence-based exercise prescription and education throughout the rehabilitation process. Her focus is to promote health and wellness through injury prevention, rehabilitation and exercise education.
Her areas of focus include pre-post natal health, C section recovery, diastasis recti, activity throughout pregnancy, return to activity postnatally, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, pessary fitting, pessary care, groin pain, labral tears and hip pain.
