Dr. Heydari obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alberta and returned to Calgary to complete her residency, specializing in Family Medicine.
She is a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and is a NAMS certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP).
Patients seek her expertise in contraceptive counselling, IUD insertion/management, menstrual disorders, menopause management (including medical hormone therapy and non-hormonal options), sexual health, early prenatal care. Dr.Heydari practices shared decision making and strives to provide patient education. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking new recipes with her husband and spending time with family.

Dr. Mansoor completed her MD at the University of Saskatchewan before moving to Calgary where she trained to become a Family Doctor. She is passionate about delivering equitable, accessible, and inclusive health care to all people of all backgrounds. Her interests include, but are not limited to, providing sexual health counselling and care, management for issues related to the menstrual cycle, contraceptive advice and counselling, IUD removals/insertions, PAP smears, and post menopausal symptom management. When she’s not working, Dr. Mansoor likes to read and escape in the pages of a good book, try new recipes, and is always down for a games night with family and friends!

Dr. Shymansky earned her medical degree from the University of Calgary and subsequently completed two years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology residency prior to transitioning into Family Medicine. Dr. Shymansky’s areas of interest include contraception counselling, IUD insertion, abnormal uterine bleeding and prenatal care. Dr. Shymansky is dedicated to promoting women's health and educating patients, prioritizing open communication and a supportive environment for women of all ages. In her free time, she finds enjoyment in reading, traveling, and discovering new culinary experiences at restaurants.

Dr. Jimmy Kwok has been a Geriatrician for over 20 years with an active role in Calgary & Vancouver hospital care. Alongside his hospital routine, he continues to pursue his special interest in optimizing health for men. In particular, male sexual function and sexual health in Calgary.
Using advance technology and research, erectile dysfunction can be treated along with optimizing sexual function for men of all ages. Learn about his services here

Torri Barnes, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist , Pessary Care, EMSELLA By MAUD

Torri graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, after completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours at the University of Calgary. The first few years of her career were spent with a mentor, focusing primarily on patients with on-going hip pain. In this population, Torri noted a large portion of her patients describing co-existing pelvic issues. Torri then completed post-graduate education in Pelvic Health and IMS (dry needling), registered through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Torri is passionate about the hip and pelvic floor, and strongly believes in evidence-based exercise prescription and education throughout the rehabilitation process. Her focus is to promote health and wellness through injury prevention, rehabilitation and exercise education.
Her areas of focus include pre-post natal health, C section recovery, diastasis recti, activity throughout pregnancy, return to activity postnatally, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, pessary fitting, Pessary cleaning, groin pain, labral tears and hip pain.

Betty is a dedicated pelvic floor physiotherapist committed to providing compassionate care to individuals of all genders. With a deep passion for helping those experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and more, Betty strives to empower patients on their journey to wellness.
Driven by a love for education and a desire to make a meaningful difference, Betty takes a patient-centred approach to treatment, recognizing the unique needs and experiences of each individual. As a Physiotherapist with an interest in women’s health, I enjoy working with a diverse clientele of all ages and believe in the body’s ability to heal through mindful movement.
I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, and later obtained a Masters’ Degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy practice (2012) from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom.
As a firm believer in lifelong learning, I have 19 years experience (from Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and Canada) in women’s health, musculoskeletal and geriatric practice which has influenced my biopsychosocial approach to the management of various conditions. I place a high value on the therapeutic relationship with my clients and my treatment approach is a mix of hands-on, exercise prescription, and client education to name a few.
I love spending my free time reading books on various subjects from the history of civilization to mindfulness and the power of positive thinking. I have also recently developed a love for Yoga and meditation.

Katty Oishi
With over 20 years of experience in diverse healthcare settings, Katty specializes in treating patients with neurological conditions. Her deep commitment to patient care led her to develop a profound interest in pelvic health, recognizing its essential role in overall well-being.
Her passion for pelvic health began while working with patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction due to neurological conditions. She witnessed firsthand the profound impact that bowel, bladder, and sexual health issues can have on a person's quality of life. Inspired by the resilience of her patients, she has dedicated herself to helping individuals regain confidence and control over their pelvic health, fostering hope and empowerment through treatment.
Katty firmly believes that high-quality pelvic health care starts with creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where patients can openly share their experiences. She takes a holistic approach, addressing not only the pelvic floor but also its connection to the entire body and lifestyle.
She is also deeply committed to supporting gender-diverse individuals through their pelvic health journeys, including those undergoing transition. Her goal is to help patients reclaim their sense of freedom and well-being, ensuring that pelvic health concerns become just one chapter in their story—not the defining one.

Mariana Moraes is a dedicated physiotherapist from Brazil, with a strong focus on Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions. She earned her Bachelor's degree in 2014 and immediately pursued specialized training, completing a two-year postgraduate program in Women's Health, Men's Health, and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in Brazil. She further expanded her expertise with additional postgraduate courses in Canada.
Mariana believes that active listening is key to understanding her patients' unique needs, which allows her to conduct thorough assessments and identify the root causes of their dysfunctions. She then develops personalized treatment plans that integrate exercise, education, modalities, and hands-on techniques. Her approach is centered around empowering patients to take control of their health and achieve their individual goals.
To provide the best care, Mariana is committed to continuous professional development, regularly attending education courses and staying updated on the latest research. Fluent in both English and Portuguese, she also offers treatment to Portuguese-speaking immigrants, ensuring they feel comfortable communicating in their native language throughout the process.

Hilary McDermott - Pessary Fitting & Care
With a wealth of experience in pelvic floor physiotherapy, Hilary has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate the complexities of pelvic health. Over the years, she has had the privilege of supporting clients through various stages of life, from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond.
Hilary is excited to be offering pessary fittings and care at Maud Medical. Having personally experienced the positive impact pessaries can have, she is committed to guiding others in similar situations toward attaining similar benefits. With a deep understanding of pelvic pain, bladder and bowel concerns, and other related issues, Hilary is dedicated to providing personalized care and support to every individual who seeks her expertise.

Julia Rowland is a Registered Dietitian in Calgary. She obtained her degree in Nutrition and Food Science with a specialization in Dietetics from the University of Alberta. Julia was born and raised in Calgary and is excited to be providing services to better the health of Calgarians. She is passionate about taking the complex science of nutrition and making it into easy to understand goals that clients can implement into their lives. Julia knows that it isn’t always easy to make long lasting change which is why she provides collaborative, ongoing, and flexible nutrition support to fit your life. With a passion for women’s health, Julia specializes in a range of life stages and conditions that effects women including: PCOS and endometriosis, preconception, pregnancy, post-partum, perimenopause and menopause, and family nutrition. In her free time Julia enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and cat.

Julie Munch is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a special interest in sexuality and sexual function. She supports oncology patients to regain pleasure.

Graduating from University of Calgary and a Practicing Kinesiologist with the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA) and Canadian Kinesiology Alliance (CKA), Emma’s areas of interest are improving well-being through sexual health education and services. Prior to joining the team at MAUD Medical Clinic, Emma was a sexual health educator delivering programs to people of all ages in Calgary and the surrounding area.
With a deep passion for reducing barriers to accessing care, Emma is committed to providing trauma informed, safer, and more inclusive care for everyone. She takes a collaborate and educational approach to her practice, by encouraging open and clear communication, to support patients in making informed decisions that reflect their unique experiences and goals.
Outside of the clinic, Emma can be found supporting the community through events, fundraisers, and attending almost all the local markets. Emma is also a photographer working with different non-profit organizations and music artists!

Grace is a ViaSure™, EMSELLA© By MAUD, and EMSCULPT© By MAUD consultant. She also offers laser hair removal. She is a Practicing Kinesiologist, graduated from the University of Calgary and registered with the Alberta Kinesiology Association and Canadian Kinesiology Alliance.
Grace’s areas of expertise and interest include pelvic floor strengthening and control, and women’s health education and awareness. When she isn’t in the clinic, Grace works as a research coordinator for a menstrual health clinical trial, educating women on their menstrual cycles and fertility. This background has given her a passion for giving her patients the tools to continue to succeed after treatment, and to provide evidence-based care for all populations. She values using clear communication and resources to connect with patients and empower them to take back control over their pelvic floor functioning. Grace understands the importance of a holistic approach to practice, and she couples treatment with education and consulting that reflect the diverse goals of her patients. She is committed to offering a judgement free and inclusive space for all patients.

March Chai graduated from Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a dual major in both Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). March Chai believes in treating the root and the branch (symptom) of a condition simultaneously.
She has been treating a wide range of health concerns using acupuncture and cupping with an emphasis on menstrual pain management, fertility, PMS/PMDD, mental health, headaches and migraines, digestion, pre-natal and post-natal care, pre-menopause, and menopause.
She takes a collaborative and educational approach in her practice, by encouraging open and clear communication, allowing patients to make informed decisions that reflect their personal histories and goals. Every person is unique, and every treatment must be tailored accordingly.

Brooke (she/her) is a certified clinical esthetician, laser hair removal technician, ViaSure and a consultant for EMSCULPT and EMSELLA By MAUD Educatorcurrently completing her Bachelor of Nursing degree in Calgary. Brooke is passionate about creating a safe and welcoming environment for her patients, ensuring each patient feels heard and supported. She is dedicated to fostering open, judgment-free conversations, and empowering all to feel comfortable and confident discussing their health goals and needs.

Danielle is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant or CHN/CHNC She obtained her certification through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) and graduated with a certificate of merit. Danielle is passionate about all things health and wellness and brings that passion into her practice. She has built her business on the belief that when we feel our best, we look our best and that beauty starts from within, naming it Mooi-the Dutch translation of beauty/beautiful- to reflect this. Her mission with Mooi is to help all of her clients look and feel their best from the inside out and her approach to nutrition is based on four key philosophies- quality over quantity, we are what we eat, less is more, and food for thought, literally. Marva grew up in Calgary, where she was part of a large family with a lifelong passion for sports. Her personal experiences with sports injuries and the subsequent rehabilitation process ignited her interest in health and wellness, guiding her career path.
As a certified Emsella and Emsculpt technician, Marva integrates her extensive knowledge of Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) therapy into her practice using the HIFEM technology at MAUD. With a deep commitment to the wellness industry, she brings a blend of expertise and passion to the clinic, offering clients effective, personalized care to enhance their function and well-being.

Ganga recently moved to Calgary from Dublin, Ireland. Her passion toward equality for women combined with her Masters in Biotechnology and ample experience in Pharma, provides Ganga with a meticulous skillset in managing patient experience.
